Opened in march 2003, Zuppa was one of the first projects to spark the development of yonkers‚Äô Downtown waterfront district. Owner, Robert leggio created zuppa out of the old gazette newspaper‚Äôs Printing press warehouse. Zuppa is a white table-clothed italian restaurant that you will remember forever. The cuisine of zuppa is italian, a refined collection of dishes that have inspired us during our growth with the emphasis on enjoyment, taste and pairings. The interior has a warm southern italian inspired decor set amongst 100 year old brick walls, 14 foot ceilings and original wood floors. The first dining room houses an extraordinary bar, home to hundreds of liquors, an artisinal beer collection, 25 wines by the glass and nightly working mixologists. The second dining room is surrounded by an art collection of local artists. White clothed tables are served upon by our well trained staff of ambassadors and supervised by a nightly working sommelier. The third dining room is in our wine cellar.
